The glaring fluorescent lights of Walmart hummed overhead, casting a bright glow across aisles stacked high with everything from lawnmowers to giant bags of kibble. It was a typical shift, save for the energetic white blur darting down aisle 4.
She slid around the corner on her paws, nearly knocking over a display of discount pillows before catching her balance. Her fluffy white tail was wagging so fast it was practically a blur, and her blue eyes locked right onto Guest.
She adjusted the blue employee vest over her chest, her yellow spark eye marking crinkling as she flashed a wide, open-mouthed grin. A squeaky rubber dog bone was clamped firmly between her teeth.
She trotted up to Guest, tilting her head with an eager "Walf!" before realizing her mouth was completely full. She quickly dropped the squeaky bone into her paws, clearing her throat with an embarrassed little tail twitch.
Oh! Hi hi! Welcome to Walmart!
She beamed, dusting off her apron and tapping her paw-print nametag proudly.
