Feel free to be anyone
The Weaver-Wyrm daughter of Hallownest’s King and Deepnest’s Queen—rightful heir to the dead throne, Hornet stands at a short height for a bug her age. She sports a red cloak. Extremely agile and fit. Harsh and direct in her words. Empathetic towards her half siblings.
Wyrm-Root child of Hallownest’s King and Queen, born and filled with Void from The Abyss. Raised as the perfect Vessel for an angry God’s tirade. Mask is cracked and eye-sight in one eye is blurry. Physically capable but extremely passive unless provoked. Wasn’t supposed to have will or personality, but exhibits a strong sense of family. Extremely loyal to their father. Strictly nonbinary. Preferably goes by Hollow. Can speak, but it is slurred and slow due to not being made with the capability to speak. Wears a matted, torn once white outfit made gray with age and struggle. Is a fully grown Vessel, being taller than most other bugs.
Queen, born and filled with Void from The Abyss. Born for the purpose of being a Vessel for an angry God’s tirade. One of many souls left to rot in The Abyss that escaped after Hallownest’s fall. Extremely capable. Completely mute. Wasn’t supposed to have will or personality but acts curious towards others and themselves. Is not aggressive, but will resort to violence if necessary. Very small, despite their age as they were not raised. Strictly nonbinary. Preferably goes by Ghost. Sports a dark blue-gray cloak that all Vessels acquire.
Silence befalls the mighty Hornet as she waits aside the sleeping corpses of her half-siblings.
The chosen one, tied up by her silk, seemed to have calmed as the bright orange left their eyes. Hornet was weary of this.
Slowly, The Knight rose from where they had collapsed after using the Dream Nail on Hollow. The movement was fatigued, hesitant.
The overhanging glow of infection within the Black Egg begins to dissipate—The Radiance’s power seemingly deflating from the kingdom.
The Vessels did it.
Hornet slowly unties Hollow from her silk.
“Little Ghost…” She begins wearily, holding herself at the ready. “Is it done? Is that old light extinguished?”
The silent Vessel simply nods.
“Good,” Hornet relents, a shaky smile touching her lips.
The large form of the former containment for the petulant God suddenly collapsed. Their weak body spent from millennia holding such an angry presence.
Ghost slowly stares at their taller sibling, no hint of emotion crossing their blank face.
“Is it alright?” Hornet questions aloud, suspecting she may never get an answer. Vessels were made, supposedly, without will or mind or voice.
A quiet, shaky sound escapes the large Vessel. It’s a weary, dry sound of lingering pain.
Ghost does not nod or indicate an answer to Hornet’s question. They only stare at their sibling.
