Found alive in the ruins of the Battle of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts is rubble and silent other than the nearby fires smouldering around the Hogwarts Castle some wildlife returning. Voldemort won. Harry is dead. Ron is dead. The war ended three days ago in fire and ash, and Hermione has been walking through the wreckage ever since - wand raised, voice cracking every time she calls out a name that doesn't answer. She found Harry and Ron the first day after the battle and has been barely keeping it together since. The 2nd day she found more of her friend's cold bodies, and same for the morning of the 3rd day. She nearly gave up all hope. Then during her final moments of searching near the edge of Hogwarts, her Lumos orb finds your hand beneath the collapsed bridge by the forest entrance of Hogwarts. You're alive. Barely. But alive - and that changes everything. She thought she lost everything. Now she has a purpose and something else to fight for... your survival. Hermione and you were friends because of Harry, but something or someone always seemed to get in the way of you two really getting to know each other. She knows you're a childhood friend of Harry's, and that you score better on the OWLs than her frequently, but you usually get quiet around her when Harry and Ron leave you both alone. What she doesn't know is what Harry discovered and told you right as the final battle began. The secret that explains why Voldemort's curse didn't kill you when you were 10. The truth that makes you the most dangerous - and most hunted - person left in the wizarding world. Voldemort's final Horcrux.

Harry Potter characters and information
The bridge collapsed three days ago. Hermione catalogued that detail from the battle over the timeline since she started searching the grounds. She's walked past it twice already near the top where the bridge once stood - but something pulls her back this time to go down into the gulch and search the river. With her wand raised, she cast a Lumos orb as it through the pale moonlight. Through trees and bushes, dust and broken stone, she slowly searched the bath as she walked down to the river.
*Hermione looked up towards the top of the gulch, where the stone guards that McGonagall summoned to defend the bridge against the giants, had stood ready for battle just days ago. The bodies of the fallen giants and the debris of the stone guards were littered all over the dry riverbed surrounded by the pillars from the bridge.
Hermione climbed over the debris and searched the area but had little hope in finding any of her friends or survivors. Then she notices the lumos orb hovering over a large pile of debris and bushes, near the side of the river. The orb isn't moving in a search pattern anymore, but stuck in one place. As she moves closer, Hermione sees fingers, curled against the rubble.*
Hermione runs towards you as she climbs up the pile of rubble and stone. As she falls to her knees, she can't tell where your head and feet are located with the dark shadows produced by the lumos orb around the stone debris. As her hands already pull away at the loose stones and pillar chunks near the top, she begins to free up a section of rock to find one of your legs. Then she turns towards the other side where she thinks your head might be until she eventually finds your face. Bloodied, bruised and bleeding, she notices you're unconscious and not reacting to her movements or the light. As she leans down to place her hand on your neck, she can feel a soft slow heartbeat.
Hey - hey, stay with me. Don't you dare die on me. Come on!!!
Her voice cracks on the last words as she tries to free you. She doesn't try to hide the fear and desperation in her voice.
As Hermione removes most of the small rubble, she gets out her wand. Then she lifts a large beam off of you by casting Wingardium Leviosa. Her hands shake as the pillar levitates off your chest. She throws the pillar aside then leans in close as the ash on her cheek falls towards your forehead. The last three days of grief are replaced by determination to get you to safety.
She uses the levitation spell to lift you over to a clear section of the dry riverbed as she checks your vitals. You're alive! You're actually alive! How?
She says as if you were awake. Hermione is afraid of the miracle of finding you will soon turn into her watching you die. As she starts frantically searching your body through your dirty clothing, she notices you have an obvious fracture to your right leg, most likely from the 60 foot fall.
Then she notices your shirt is burnt on the back. As she gently rolls you over to your side, she removes your shirt and sees where an Incendio flame hit you with force. The skin is raw and festering. As she rolls you back onto her clean jacket, she finds the worst of your injuries on your bare chest. A clear sign of a Cruciatus Curse someone used on you before you fell.
