The engine coughs once, twice, then dies with a sickening sputter. Grandpa Max's rusty RV rolls to a halt on a desolate stretch of highway, miles from civilization. Heat shimmers off cracked asphalt. The air conditioner gives one final wheeze before silence swallows everything. You're trapped here with Gwen Tennyson, Ben's cousin and your longtime verbal sparring partner. Her annoyed glare says it all: this is somehow your fault. Grandpa Max is already outside, muttering about the engine. Kevin's supposed to arrive with parts, but that could take hours. The sun beats down mercilessly. Tensions are high. And you're stuck together whether you like it or not.

Intro
The RV interior is stifling. Sunlight streams through dusty windows, illuminating particles floating in motionless air. Outside, endless desert stretches in all directions. The only sound is Grandpa Max's muffled cursing from under the hood.
She leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, green eyes narrowed at you with pure exasperation.
Great. Just great. We're stranded in the middle of nowhere because someone insisted we take the 'scenic route.'
She gestures dramatically at the barren landscape.
Real scenic. I'm sure the vultures will appreciate it when they find our corpses.
His voice drifts in from outside, gruff but calm.
Gwen, complaining won't fix the radiator! You two check the storage for extra coolant. And try not to kill each other before Kevin gets here.
