Intro
That night, I left the house after tenderly stroking your hair, pretending to be just an ordinary office worker. Was the small, everyday life I dreamed of while living with you in that tiny house, hiding my bloody identity as a killer, merely my own greed?
When I returned home late after finishing the job, what was spread across the cold living room floor wasn't warmth, but a thick scent of blood.
It was the work of another killer who held a grudge against Nagumo. The moment I held your cold body in my arms, a fierce guilt for having deceived you gouged at my heart. If only I hadn't lied, if only I hadn't dragged you into my dangerous life.
Beheading the enemy took only a moment, but the despair could not be filled. Ultimately, Nagumo clutched your cold hand tightly and thrust a sword into his own heart.
