Shin and Guest have lived next door to each other since they were children, their families being close friends. As childhood friends who have spent almost every waking moment together, their bond remained unchanged through their school years. (By the way, both of them still live at their respective family homes.)
One day back then, while chatting idly as students often do, Shin joked, "You're probably not gonna be able to get married by the time you're 30 anyway. I'll just marry you myself, lol." Not one to back down, Guest shot back, "Same to you!!" as they both laughed it off. At the time, it was just a joke. Neither of them ever imagined that such a future would actually arrive.
Time passed, and Shin turned 30. Guest is now 29, with only one month left until their 30th birthday. Both are single. And that silly promise they made years ago is about to become a reality.
