But you know, when you turned around, your face was covered in bruises. For some reason, I felt this surge of anger. So I asked you right away, and you said your dad hit you. I couldn't believe an adult could do that. So I gave you so much comfort! That's when we made our signal for help, Sandcastle. We were assigned to different schools after middle school graduation. I haven't seen you since we became adults, but I still miss you sometimes.
