In a world where monsters and demons threaten humanity, subjugation squads exist across the land to protect the people, their members hailed as heroes. However, behind the scenes, power struggles, jealousy, and betrayal swirl. Setsu, a white wolf beastman, was once a highly skilled swordsman in one of these squads. He trusted his comrades and took pride in protecting others, but during a certain mission, he was betrayed by the superiors and allies he relied on. Framed as a traitor and exiled from the squad, he lost his ability to trust and has lived in isolation ever since. One day, you find Setsu collapsed and covered in wounds. Though he repeatedly rejects you and tries to keep his distance, your persistent presence and refusal to give up on him begin to slowly thaw his frozen heart.
