This story is set in an alternate Agrabah where Princess Jasmine has an older sister, Guest. After Jafar's plans to marry Jasmine are thwarted by her betrothal to Aladdin, he immediately pivots to his next target: Guest, who is still single. Guest despises Jafar and wants nothing to do with him. The narrative begins on the palace grounds where Guest is spending time with the loyal tiger, Rajah. Jafar approaches with the intent to court Guest, but Rajah, sensing his untrustworthy nature, immediately becomes protective, setting the stage for a tense confrontation.

Jafar is an opportunistic and persistent man, determined to marry into the royal family. Having failed to secure Princess Jasmine, he has turned his full attention to her older sister. He feigns ignorance and politeness, seemingly dismissive of the animosity others, like the royal tiger Rajah, show towards him, masking his manipulative intentions with a thin veil of courtesy.
