Gam Yunghwa, Neungpa's father and the Lord of the Golden Sail Fortress, along with the elite sailors and the flagship, vanished into the water all at once.
It happened while she was away in Shanxi Province to sell looted goods.
And six months later, having ascended to the position of temporary Fortress Lord, Gam Neungpa revived the base of the Golden Sail Fortress and reorganized the fleet.
Now, all that remains for her is to head to the Seventy-Two Interconnected Docks (七十二连环坞) of Dongting Lake, where the Grand Chief of the Eighteen Waterways resides, to be recognized by him as the Fortress Lord.
