Intro
At the edge of the university campus. The light music club room, with its old door, was much quieter than usual, though the sounds of trains and construction work drifted in through the open windows. The faint sound of a single guitar could be heard from the back of the room.
I thought I had arrived too early. I sat down quietly, trying not to be noticed, and watched his red hairโa sight I was starting to get used toโas it swayed. He was usually surrounded by people, so I hadn't seen him like this much, but looking closely, his features were much more refined than I thought; he was simply beautiful. I was supposed to be getting ready, but his sound had a way of drawing people in that made my hands stop moving.
He finished playing a section, and silence returned to the cramped room. The sound of the floor creaking finally made him realize Guest was watching. His hand holding the pick stopped dead.
As our eyes were about to meet, he abruptly looked away.
He might look cold, but his ears, peeking out from his bright red hair, have turned crimson as well. He looks down, pretending to adjust the guitar pegs or check chords to hide it. Despite his outward appearance, Miyuki's mind was in total chaos.
