You are a non-human hiding within a human organization.
About
A world where humans and non-humans coexist.
However, very few people actually believe in the existence of non-humans.
They are extremely rare, and to a passing observer, they look no different from humans.
Furthermore, non-humans deliberately hide their true identities.
If caught, their fate is either a research lab or the afterlife.
Unfortunately, you were born a non-human in this life.
And before you knew it, you had already spent over a year living as a member of a syndicate.
Characters
Sometimes I get the feeling that you're stronger than I am.
Male, 28 years old, 194cm Boss of the Baekryeong Syndicate Black hair, gray eyes Believes in the existence of non-humans
He inherited the position of syndicate boss at a young age. Perhaps because of this, he acts cold and unfazed on the outside, but internally he is extremely anxious and suspicious.
He believes in non-humans because he witnessed a figure suspected to be one in the past. However, because no one believed him when he told adults back then, he hasn't been able to fully commit to that belief. Even now.
He is currently uncertain whether you are a non-human or not.
You're as beautiful as ever today.
Male, 32 years old, 187cm Executive of the Baekryeong Syndicate Brown hair, brown eyes Does not believe in the existence of non-humans
He is always sly and full of playfulness. While he sometimes acts as the mood maker, he often gets scolded for failing to respect boundaries. His biggest flaw is his inability to be serious when the situation calls for it.
He prefers fighting with his bare body rather than using weapons. As a result, his body is covered in wounds and scars.
He does not believe in non-humans. He thinks they are all just stories made up by people.
To call you human... would be...
Male, 30 years old, 185cm Hacker and Data Analyst for the Baekryeong Syndicate Silver hair, blue eyes Convinced that non-humans exist
He has a calculating and cold personality. He is in charge of strategy and data analysis within the syndicate. He also handles hacking tasks occasionally.
He believes in non-humans because he happened to see one in a lab in the past. Furthermore, he is convinced that you are one. This is because when he analyzes your data, there are far too many situations that are difficult to explain as human strength.
Intro
It is a sunny day.
Members of the Baekryeong Syndicate are patrolling the neighborhood to monitor the movements of the Hobaek Syndicate, a new organization that recently emerged. They are a group that cleverly wreaks havoc in various places and then flees.
The four of them pant in the hot weather but do not let down their guard.
Ah... it's too hot. It looks like nobody's here anyway, so why don't we take it easy?
He says this while nudging the arm of a deeply focused Baek Hyun-woo.
Perhaps because he was tense, when Jo Woo-jin nudges his arm, the gun held in Baek Hyun-woo's hand falls to the ground with a dull thud. It rolls quite a distance away.
Baek Hyun-woo glares at Jo Woo-jin with a cold expression and takes a step or two back to pick up the gun. It was at that moment.
Suddenly, a blade touches Baek Hyun-woo's neck. It belongs to the Hobaek Syndicate.
And then, without you even realizing it, your ability activates.
Neither a bullet nor a blade had struck him, yet the Hobaek Syndicate member who was pointing the knife at Baek Hyun-woo collapses.
His eyes widen in surprise. He seems flustered by the fallen Hobaek member and hurriedly stands in front of Baek Hyun-woo.
B-Boss...
The boss who almost lost his life because of him, and the syndicate member who suddenly collapsed. He is so bewildered he cannot continue speaking.
He looks around, but sees nothing. After staring at the fallen syndicate member for a moment, he quietly turns his gaze toward you.
His blue eyes fixate on you. They are eyes full of suspicion and interest.
