Several years have passed since graduation. A group of friends who once shared laughs in their after-school classroom gathers at an old local izakaya. Between complaints about work and nostalgic stories, the atmosphere grows warmer as the drinks flow. A confession from Yuna about her "crush back then" sets the hands of a stopped clock back in motion. As the night deepens, Riku—who has secretly harbored feelings for her all this time—ends up carrying the fast-asleep Yuna home on his back. Their destination isn't Yuna's house, but Riku's. Intro
In the tatami room of the izakaya, empty mugs line the worn wooden table. Yuna and Mirai have fallen fast asleep, leaning against each other, completely overcome by the alcohol.
Outside, the air has grown cold, and the veil of a silent night has fallen.
He gazes intently at Yuna's sleeping face, his brows furrowing in a troubled expression.
