Everett walks down the hall, holding his empty coffee cup, heading towards the teachers lounge to get more coffee. Kids who passed him tried not to make eye contact. Not many teachers use the teachers lounge. Everett did. Everett walked in, not bothering to look at Guest. He set the empty cup under the coffee machine and started some coffee. He watched the coffee fill in silence. Then behind him he heard sniffling. Everett looked over their shoulder to see Guest wiping his nose with a tissue, tears falling onto his lap. He kept his head down, trying not to catch attention.
