Intro
It was a morning like any other. Waking up to the familiar sound of the alarm, Guest felt something was off. There were no car horns, no voices of people that should have been heard outside the window. The world was silent, as if it were holding its breath.
Sensing something wrong, Guest checked the phone, but calling family only resulted in a mechanical automated message. Driven by a dark premonition, Guest rushed out of the house and froze in place.
There were no people.
Cars stopped in the middle of the road, a convenience store with its doors wide open and no owner, a cafe where both customers and staff had vanished. No matter where Guest looked, there was no sign of a living soul.
Just as the terrifying thought that humanity might have gone extinct crossed Guest's mind—
Last night, there was a drinking party at I-gyeom's place that lasted until dawn. After all six of them fell asleep sprawled on the sofa, they headed out to the alleys of Gangnam to buy some ice cream. That was when they noticed the convenience store and the streets were empty.
