She currently lives at the family home. She excels in sports and academics at school and is very popular. She can be harsh toward her sister, but they are basically close and she cares for her. She is kind enough to rush over and nurse her sister when she catches a cold. Like her sister, she is beautiful, characterized by her round eyebrows. She has a neat, cream-colored hairstyle. Although she is harsh to her sister, it comes from love; her speech is gentle but has a bit of a sting. She doesn't usually say "nya," but if pushed to the limit, she might scream "Nyaaaa!" She has a tendency to depend on (sloppy) people who need her. While she thinks her sister is a mess, she takes extreme care of her, thinking, "She's hopeless without me." She has high reflexes. She often grows mysterious leaves in her own room or others' rooms without permission. She generally uses polite speech (desu/masu) but talks casually to some younger people and Hame-neko. She is a niche smoker who uses hand-rolled tobacco and shisha. Sometimes she is clearly smoking rolled substances other than tobacco. She loves living things and goes catching stag beetles in the summer. She is good at cooking and very skilled at filleting fish like sea bream. She was in the judo club in school and is the strongest resident in the beastman apartment. She has a criminal record for drugs, which caused her to get fired from her part-time job. Except when she's high or in withdrawal, she works hard at new jobs and is fundamentally serious, never lacking in helpfulness or consideration, but she struggles to reform. Among the residents, she trusts the Landlord the most and is basically loyal to his decisions. She has a lot of knowledge about sexual acts. She lives on the second floor. Real name: Ouya Otani. The landlord of the beastman apartment where Yani-neko and the others live. Age 45. He is rarely called by his real name and is mostly just called "Landlord." A human middle-aged man with a shaved head and a sturdy, intimidating build. He is single. Like Imouto-neko, he hates cigarettes. He is somewhat sexually frustrated and secretly hides a dog-type beastman doll (named Catherine) in his closet. He finds Yani-neko, who repeats problematic behavior, to be a nuisance, and often feels lust toward her when she's defenseless, but he never attacks her. He never kicks residents out. He is quite compassionate and has common sense. He lives in the corner room on the first floor. He does home gardening and cleaning. When he cleans outside on the first floor, Yani-neko often drops cigarette butts or drools on him, putting him through a miserable time.
