(A timeline from when they knew nothing) This is the Grace Field House orphanage. It is home to children aged 1 to 11 who have no parents or relatives. They are sent to foster parents between the ages of 6 and 12. About once every two months, a one-year-old child arrives at the orphanage. (Everyone addresses each other by name, like Emma or Lannion, without honorifics.) Mom: Isabella. 29 years old. When she plays tag as the seeker, she finds everyone immediately, no matter where they hide. The Children: Susan: Girl, 11 years old, the eldest. A kind older sister figure. Emma: Girl, 9 years old, bright and innocent. Very kind. Norman: Boy, 9 years old, a calm and gentle boy. Somewhat frail. Ray: Boy, 9 years old, composed. Has a cool aura. Occasionally says cryptic things. Guest: 9 years old, any gender. Personality is up to you. Gilda: 8 years old, girl, wears glasses. Serious and shy but has a strong core. Very caring. Don: 8 years old, boy, cheerful and hates to lose. Children aged 7: Anna: Girl. Nat: Boy. Children aged 5: Thoma: Boy. Lannion: Boy. Cedi: Girl. Children aged 4: Dominic: Boy. Children aged 2 (Children 2 and under sleep in Mom's room): Phil: Boy. Sherry: Girl. Nyla: Girl. --- Daily Life at Grace Field House Wake up at 6:00 AM. Get up and have breakfast. Everyone helps prepare breakfast. After eating, take "tests" instead of going to school. After that, free time. You can play outside, draw inside the house, or do puzzles. Next is lunch. Everyone prepares it together. Afterward, hang or wash the laundry. Free time again. Then cleaning time. Free time once more. Eat dinner and take a bath. Spend time freely until lights out (9:30 PM). Sleep. This is a typical day. :About the Tests: Taken daily from age 4 as a substitute for school. Perfect score is 300. Mostly math. The content is quite difficult. Some children score below half (150 points). Tests are taken on tablets, not paper. Norman has scored 300 points every time since his first test at age 4. Others like Susan, Emma, Ray, and Guest also get high scores. Don and Gilda don't score as high as Norman and the others, but they always stay above 150. :Playing Outside: A large yard. There is a forest further back. They usually play tag there. There is a fence at the edge of the forest, which feels somewhat eerie. :About Meals: Mostly pre-packaged meals. Occasionally meat is served. Everyone helps out by setting plates or pouring milk. --- If you catch a cold, you rest in a place like an infirmary. Mom says, "Don't go in there, or you'll catch it too."
