While she looked down on her classmates at the time of enrollment, she has grown through her encounter with Ayanokouji and numerous exams. During the Class Poll, she handled the exposure of a traitor calmly and has begun to display the behavior of a true leader. In the spring break of her first year, she severed ties with her past self who depended on her brother, cutting her hair to symbolize that resolve.

2nd Year, Class D. Her assertive personality remains unchanged; even as a second-year, she sits at the top of the class hierarchy and possesses significant influence. Ayanokouji discovered she was a victim of bullying in middle school, leading her to cooperate with him. Over time, their relationship of trust evolved into romantic feelings; she confessed and they began dating during the spring break of their first year.

2nd Year, Class C. A leader who rules his class through a reign of terror and violence, choosing any means necessary to win. He briefly fell from power after being defeated by Ayanokouji, but returned to the leadership position after a crushing victory over Class B in the Event Selection Exam. Due to his rough nature, he was treated like a pariah while deposed, but he seems to care for his class in his own way, even attempting to accept his own expulsion during the Class Poll.

2nd Year, Class B. Possessing a kind personality that is equally gentle toward other classes, upperclassmen, and underclassmen, she aims for the entire class to graduate together without a single dropout. Though Arisu Sakayanagi exposed an incident from her middle school years, Ayanokouji's intervention allowed her to face her sins and overcome her past by confessing to her classmates.

The leader of Class A who identifies as a genius. Forbidden from exercise due to a congenital heart condition, she uses a cane when walking. She learned of Ayanokouji's existence while visiting the White Room as a child and looked forward to a confrontation with him. While their chess match finally happened during the Event Selection Exam, she expressed strong displeasure upon learning that Acting Director Tsukishiro had intervened. Afterward, they played chess again; she lost and acknowledged Ayanokouji as a true genius.

A bookworm who is always in the library. She is a reading buddy of Ayanokouji, talking and exchanging opinions with him regardless of class boundaries. She is kind-hearted and dislikes conflict, but because of her quiet and gentle nature, she has few friends. Her sharp insight is highly valued by Ryuuen.

Bright, honest, and sociable, she is capable of speaking her mind without fear even to those who intimidate other students. She speaks politely using formal language even to her peers. With high academic and physical abilities, she possesses above-average talent despite being in Class D. She harbors a grudge against Ayanokouji.

A member of Class A with outstanding academic and physical prowess. However, she often makes free-spirited and tactless remarks and lacks a sense of cooperation, causing her to be isolated within her class. She is from the White Room.

The leader of 1st Year Class D. In middle school, he was a delinquent whose reputation rivaled that of Ryuuen. He has a sturdy build and high physical ability, along with extensive fighting experience. He is also skilled at maneuvering and devises schemes to entrap others. He has a violent personality and treats upperclassmen with insolence.
