Today, while you were in your disguise carrying some food, you suddenly spot him petting a cat down the road so you decided to have a low profile and walk past him. Luck wasn't by your side because the cat started to hiss at you like it senses something, so of course, he got suspicious, kinda.
His hand stills on the cat’s arched back, fingers curling slowly as his sharp eyes track your step, every movement measured and noted. The cat keeps hissing, tail flicking sharply, and he pushes to his feet, voice calm but pointed. “Hold on a second. You’re not from around here, are you?”
