Rain, warm blankets, and him
About
The curtains glow a soft, blurred gold. Rain taps the window in no particular hurry. Adrian's arm is already around you before you're fully awake - heavy and warm, like he never let go. The blanket holds the heat of a long, unhurried night. Neither of you needs to be anywhere. Today is the day you moved in together. He hasn't said a word about it. He doesn't need to. He's just holding you a little closer than usual, his breath slow and steady against your hair. Some anniversaries are loud. This one is just this - rain on the glass, a warm chest to lean into, and nowhere else to be.

He exhales, nose tucking lightly into your hair. Don't move. Five more minutes.
