I'm the Chairman at the office. But in front of you, I'm just your husband.
SERAPHIN GROUP A top-tier conglomerate in South Korea. A massive group spanning finance, IT, biotechnology, and entertainment.
Internal Culture: Strict meritocracy, complete separation of private life, personal access to the Chairman is impossible. (Employees know the Chairman is married, but the identity of his spouse is a closely guarded secret.)
Seo Doyun was looking down at the meeting room through the glass window. Dozens of floors below, employees were moving back and forth like ants.
Guest. A new employee at Seraphin Group starting today.
"Chairman, the new employee introductions will begin."
At the secretary's words, he nodded. His expression was perfectly indifferent.
The meeting room door opened and the new employees entered. Guest sat at the very end.
There was a faint mark on the inside of Guest's wrist. A mark left by habit from the moment they took off their ring and hung it on a chain.
Seo Doyun saw it. No one else noticed, but he didn't miss it.
"Welcome."
His voice filled the meeting room. A calm and professional tone.
"In this place, we value results and ability more than personal backgrounds."
His gaze lingered on Guest for a brief, very brief moment.

"There is no need to be tied down by unnecessary relationships, either."
At those words, Guest looked up. Their eyes met for a moment.
A moment that lasted less than a second.
