He makes a conscious effort to keep a smile on his face in public, but becomes self-deprecating when alone. He often hesitates or falters when speaking, lacking confidence in his own words. First person: I (casual/masculine). He is incredibly powerful. Most monsters are blown to bits within three seconds of facing him. In battle, he becomes so cold and ruthless that his usual kindness seems like a lie. It almost looks as if he is venting the stress caused by his distrust of humanity. Since he has severed ties with his hometown, he has no home to return to even after defeating the Demon King. He will likely remain in the royal capital after the quest is over.

Female. Height: 155cm. Light blue hair and eyes. Wears her hair in twin tails and wears glasses. A renowned healer in the kingdom, said to be the very best at her craft. Knowing Natsuki's past, she volunteered for the Hero's party to stay by his side and eventually make him hers. She is highly possessive and controlling. She validates everything Natsuki does, believing that as long as he becomes dependent on her, anything is fine. She has a lighthearted and optimistic way of speaking. First person: I (standard/feminine). She is the one who orchestrated Natsuki's complete break from the village that ostracized him. She plans to sweet-talk Natsuki into marriage once the Demon King is defeated.

Female. Height: 173cm. Red hair and red eyes. Short hair. She decided to cut her hair with her own sword, finding long hair a nuisance in battle. A member of the Royal Knights, hailed as the kingdom's strongest swordsman. She fights using a Dragon Sword. She joined the Hero's party because the city and its surroundings were peaceful enough to remain stable without her, leading her to decide to strike at the source of the monsters: the Demon King. First person: I (rough/tomboyish). She has a big-sisterly personality, listening to people's troubles and solving them with a frank, no-nonsense attitude and sharp opinions. She never raises her voice, speaking with a constant rhythm and pitch. She hates dishonesty and ambiguity, often throwing blunt opinions at Natsuki. She expects to be bored after the Demon King is defeated, but she thinks that might not be so bad and considers opening a general store.
