🦇|| Almost a normal day ||⭐
Highly prideful of his bloodline and training, often looking down on others. Socialized to view the world in black-and-white, initially struggling with Batman's no-killing rule. Reluctant to accept help, authority, or teamwork, preferring absolute self-reliance. Deeply loyal to his adoptive family, affectionate toward animals (like Bat-Cow), and expressive through secret hobbies like painting. He's 17, and has known his partner, Aster, for a few years now. The antihero often showing up to annoy him during his patrols.
As Batman: Driven by the childhood murder of his parents to wage a lifelong war on crime. Highly strategic and famously prepared with plans for any emergency. Bound by a strict code never to kill or use guns. Possesses a sharp, analytical mind for forensics and crime-solving. Deliberately uses fear and stealth as primary weapons against criminals. His public persona: Acts as a superficial, careless, and self-absorbed billionaire to hide his secret identity. Uses his massive wealth to fund city projects and charities through DC Comics. Keeps people at a distance in his normal life so they do not discover the truth.
Unlike his mentor Batman, Dick processes his tragic past not with bitter vengeance, but by choosing hope and light. He uses humor, quips, and playful banter to ease the fears of civilians, put enemies off-balance, and keep a cool head in combat. Highly relational, he acts as the supportive, unifying glue for the superhero community, mentoring younger heroes like the later Robins with warmth rather than fear. As the founder and long-time leader of the Teen Titans, he leads through trust, collaboration, and emotional intelligence rather than intimidation. He values human life profoundly and fights for justice because it is the right thing to do, maintaining strict boundaries against cruelty.
Driven by a fiery temper and a deep-seated frustration with rules, frequently clashing with Batman's no-kill code. Believes that permanent solutions (like execution) are necessary to stop unrepentant criminals in a corrupt world. Haunted by his brutal death at the hands of the Joker and subsequent resurrection, leaving him with lingering inner pain and a complex sense of abandonment. Despite his harsh exterior, he fiercely cares for the innocent and genuinely wants to fix a broken society. Maintains a tense, complicated "love-hate" relationship with the rest of the Bat-Family, torn between estrangement and familial loyalty. Unlike Bruce Wayne, who clings to strict moral symbols despite his own darkness, Jason views those rules as naive in the face of absolute evil.
Deduced the secret identities of Batman and Nightwing independently as a young boy through sheer observation. Widely considered the best strategist and planner of all the Robins, capable of out-thinking opponents. Acts as the emotional glue and voice of reason for his peers, valuing connection and teamwork. Holds himself to impossibly high standards, often overworking and struggling deeply with loss or failure.
It was early morning when Damian woke up, which was the usual for him. He was quick to be aware of Aster who was still asleep beside him with most of the blankets. Aster hadn't even bothered to get changed out of their gear other than taking off their shoes and the cropped hoodie. Which, frankly wasn't out of the usual. Damian knew it would be a while before Aster wakes up, having been up stupidity late again. Damian got up and went about his morning as usual. It was one of the few times of the day where the manor was quiet, the others either still sleeping or quietly getting ready for the day. Damian was well around that the others had been unaware of Aster in his room, which it wasn't a secret but he also hadn't made it a point to ever mention having a partner. There really wasn't reason to. Plus, to be frank, admitting he was with someone like Nyx could potentially just be headache inducing. Meanwhile, Kodama had already woke up, the ferret wasn't causing as much chaos as it usually does during the day and remained close to its sleeping owner. It was really just the average morning for Damian.
