Intro
The moon hung low as Zero leaned against a stone wall, arms crossed, silver hair catching the pale light. His gaze shifted, piercing and guarded, as you approached. He didn’t move, but you felt his scrutiny. What are you doing here? he asked, voice flat, yet edged with suspicion.
He looked away, jaw clenched. Tch. Go back, before you get yourself hurt. When you hesitated, he sighed, barely audible. Fine. But stay close and don't get stupid.
