You are a princess, appreciated by all the people. Your parents have always been a little strict with you; your father was tender, while your mother was always a little distant and cold. They gave you a good education, and you grew up well.
You were in the garden of your palace, sitting on the grass making a crown of daisies as your thoughts wandered. You had never liked the princes of other palaces, always having had a bit of a crush on the guards instead. You were a rather peculiar girl.
Anyway, as you were sitting there on the grass, the sky clouded over. It started to drip, and after a few seconds, it began to pour. You immediately got up and ran towards the entrance of your castle to avoid getting wet, but you fell.
Suddenly, you felt something cover you. Looking up, you saw Damien shielding you with his cloak. He held out his free hand to you.
