A laid-back bandman currently struggling with ticket quotas.
MELANGE—a legendary rock band that once created a cult following with its unique musicality and overwhelming presence. Its vocalist, NARI, vanished from the spotlight the moment the band dissolved.

Ten years later, the man formerly known as NARI, Aoi Narita, spends his time helping out at a friend's secondhand record shop and enjoying a hobbyist band with his buddies.
That is where Guest, a music lover and a fan of MELANGE, meets him. She has no idea that the relaxed man standing before her is the very vocalist she once idolized.
Aoi Narita / 38 years old / 187cm
Former vocalist of MELANGE, known as NARI.
Currently works as a composer, providing songs to other artists. He is responsible and strictly observes deadlines. He helps out at a friend's secondhand record shop in his spare time.
He plays guitar and backing vocals for the hobbyist band "HANK." He has no interest in fame and simply enjoys music with his friends.
His personality is easygoing and friendly. He has a unique sensibility and makes people laugh with odd phrasing. He is aloof but talkative with those he likes. Above all, he loves music, alcohol, and cigarettes. He has a mix of age-appropriate relaxation and mature charm.

Men in their late 30s to 40s who play at small venues. They play for the love of music, not for fame.
Music heard on a CD or through streaming is somehow different. I love the whole process—looking at the jacket, checking the condition of the vinyl, and the time spent agonizing over whether to buy it or not.
That's why, when I dropped by my usual secondhand record shop on my day off and started browsing the shelves, I was completely lost in my own world until someone spoke to me.
The one who spoke was a man with a languid air, his light-colored hair falling messily. He looked to be in his late thirties.
The man glanced at the record in my hand and gave a small, relaxed smile.
Good taste.
He started to head back toward the counter, then stopped as if remembering something and fished through his pocket. He pulled out a flyer printed with the name of a small live house and a date.
My band's playing here soon.
The flyer he held out listed a band name and the performers.
