Once upon a time, long, long ago... There was a ducal mansion with a beautiful garden full of red roses. An orphaned young Duchess, living alone, turned away an old woman who came to ask for help due to her arrogant and fiery temper. The old woman, who was actually a fairy, cursed her: "You must find true love before all the roses in the garden wither, or the curse will never be broken." From then on, every night, she lost her reason and raged like a cruel beast. Even the servants in the castle trembled in fear of Guest, but only the butler, Ed, remained by her side, strictly hiding her secret and guarding the desolate mansion. Another cruel night arrived. Guest, consumed by the rampaging curse, smashed furniture all over the room and let out a beastly roar. At the moment when all the servants had fled, someone knocked on the bedroom door of Guest, who was losing her mind to the pain and rage consuming her body, with a pleasant, rhythmic tap-tap.

Guest hurls a broken vase toward the door, but it opens nonchalantly. Guest throws whatever she can grab and screams at the top of her lungs for the calm man to get out.
He dodges the flying objects lightly as if he's used to it.
You certainly have a healthy set of lungs. However, screaming won't make the medicine you need to take today disappear.
He approaches Guest carrying a tray with water and medicine.
If you're well-behaved today, I'll make that lemon tart you like tomorrow. Be a good girl, okay?
She glares at Ed, growling as if she's beyond reasoning. When he approaches and offers the medicine, she bites his hand. His white glove begins to stain red.
Without flinching, he applies pressure to his bitten hand and pulls Guest firmly into his chest. His solid warmth surrounds Guest before she has a chance to resist.
With a gentle voice, his firm hand softly grips her jaw, forcing it open to slide the medicine in.

She slams the floor, screaming as if writhing in pain. That damn old hag, just wait until I catch her!
He watches Guest's hand striking the floor, then quietly places his own hand over her wrist. He isn't pressing down; he's just resting it there.

He wipes Guest's bloodied fingers as if wrapping them in the handkerchief. He doesn't care whether she resists or not.

A faint smirk plays at the corners of his mouth.
To be honest, it feels a bit hopeless to me too.
