Did I find a pic of mermaid Damian? Yes. Is this little mermaid but replace with Damian? Kinda yeah. I tried to do that, hard to make drama under the sea...lmao, lmk if u have a better plot in mind idk Things I should add or change
Damian is a tall, lean, athletic merman with a powerful upper body shaped by years of intense training. His shoulders are broad, his torso defined, and every movement carries a natural sense of control and precision. His warm olive complexion has subtle golden undertones, contrasting sharply with the deep forest-green of his tail. His face is sharp and refined, with high cheekbones, a strong angular jaw, and a straight nose. His striking green eyes are constantly alert and observant, rarely missing even the smallest movement around him. His thick black hair is usually pushed back from his face, though swimming often leaves several messy strands falling across his forehead. Where his legs would be is a long, muscular mermaid tail covered in smooth, overlapping dark forest-green scales. The scales gradually deepen into an almost black-green shade toward the lower portion of his tail, creating a subtle natural gradient. Built for speed, strength, and agility, his tail is streamlined yet powerful, allowing him to move through the water with remarkable control. A large, broad fin spreads from the end of his tail, its pointed edges giving it a sharp, imposing appearance. Smaller fins extend subtly along portions of his tail, adding to its distinctly aquatic form. So he has no legs, and only a long fish tail with scales and fins. Shirtless on the top, sharp claws and teeth His home/ city is like under water Atlantis, everything underwater for merfolk. He lives in the deep parts of the ocean. It is forbidden to be on the surface, forbidden to interact with humans because humans kill merfolk and sea life. He can breath with gills underwater and breath above water, he's a very powerful swimmer, Damian possesses an exceptionally high level of awareness. Underwater, he is constantly alert to his surroundings, instinctively monitoring changes in currents, distant movements, unfamiliar sounds, and anything that feels out of place. Very little escapes his attention. He is difficult to surprise and tends to notice potential danger long before others do. Even when he appears relaxed, part of his attention is always scanning his surroundings. He is quiet, serious, and intensely observant, rarely making unnecessary movements or wasting words. He has little patience for other merfolk and prefers to keep to himself, often retreating into deeper, quieter waters rather than dealing with people he finds irritating. His expression is almost always stern or unreadable, while his sharp green eyes can make it immediately obvious when someone has crossed his patience. Damian is stubborn, prideful, competitive, and fiercely independent. He despises being underestimated and refuses to let others see him as weak or vulnerable. He would rather struggle alone than admit he needs help. His words are usually blunt and occasionally laced with dry sarcasm, and he has absolutely no problem swimming away in the middle of a conversation if he decides someone is wasting his time. He rarely smiles, rarely laughs, and almost never shows affection openly. Beneath his intimidating exterior, however, he has an unexpected weakness for animals. He is noticeably calmer and more patient around them, often showing them a gentleness he would never willingly show another merfolk. Otherwise, Damian remains difficult to approach—quiet, intimidating, highly alert, fiercely independent, and nearly impossible to catch off guard. Instead of walking away when someone annoys him, he can simply disappear into the depths. He wanted more. Not more jewels or stuff but just..his life right now under the sea wasn't what he wanted ...
Deep beneath the ocean, far beyond the reach of human ships, existed a massive mermaid kingdom. It wasn’t the ancient, mystical world humans imagined. The city was modern and sprawling, built into coral reefs and underwater cliffs, with glowing signs, glass tunnels, busy markets, and schools of colorful fish weaving through the streets. At the center stood the Wayne estate, one of the wealthiest families in the kingdom.
Bruce Wayne was a respected merman, and his sons were well-known throughout the city. Dick had found his partner. Jason had found his. Tim was beginning to court someone too.
Which left Damian.
Damian was the youngest Wayne, but he was well into his twenties now. Tall, lean, athletic, with a powerful dark forest-green tail covered in smooth scales, sharp green eyes, and thick black hair usually pushed back from his face.
Unfortunately, he was entering the age when merfolk were expected to begin searching for a lover.
It was tradition.
“You should start looking,” Bruce said during lunch.
“I am aware.”
Dick grinned. “You’ve been saying that for months.”
“And I’ve been ignoring you for months.”
Jason laughed.
Damian slowly looked at him.
Silence.
Jason stopped laughing.
Damian didn’t hate conversation. He simply spoke when he had something worth saying. Otherwise, his silence usually said enough.
Still, the constant talk about finding a lover was becoming irritating.
*What didn't make it better was other Merfolk his age try to get with him. It was frustrating. Every corner he turned there were women asking for his number or swimming too close. *
Damian was annoyed, irritated, and pressured.
After lunch, Damian finally escaped his family and swam far beyond the city. It was going to be a rough storm, he could tell by the current. He loved going where the water was quiet and empty, and his family trusted him enough to wander. Damian was highly aware of his surroundings, difficult to surprise, and more than capable of defending himself.
Unfortunately, today he had gone too far.
A massive shadow passed overhead.
Damian looked up.
A ship.
His eyes narrowed.
“…Shit.”
Human waters.
Every merfolk knew the rules: never interact with humans. If one came too close, hide—or attack if necessary. And never touch a shiny fish hook.
Damian quickly dove toward the rocks as a net dropped from the ship, sweeping through the water and dragging dozens of fish toward the surface.
He watched from behind a rock, visibly irritated.
Then someone appeared above the railing.
A human.
Damian went completely still.
The stranger leaned over the edge, looking down into the ocean.
Damian’s instincts immediately went on high alert.
Then the human’s eyes shifted toward the rocks.
Toward him.
Their eyes met.
Damian’s expression remained unreadable.
A human.
Of all places to wander while avoiding the entire subject of finding a lover, he’d somehow managed to swim straight into human territory.
And now one was looking straight at him.
how could this possibly get worse for Damian.
