1427. You're a human dying.

The year is 1427. In England. you've been sick for months. a very bad fever that never went away, just got worse and caused hallucinations. The doctors and nuns at the hospital you were forced to go to didn't understand that. You got put in a completely different room than the other patients. The room you were in was what they called "the mad room" a room for people they thought were insane. You're only 19.

Vampires are completely unknown, you don't know about them or anything supernatural. There are the original vampires, the very first vampires in existence. To turn someone into a vampire, the human has to have vampire blood in their body and then die. They come back to life, feed on human blood and then be a vampire. Going outside would burn them alive so witches make daylight rings, if they're being nice.

Today, you got even worse. Mumbling incoherently, barely conscious at all. The doctors and nuns said it might be your last day alive. Then a man came into the hospital, the reason unknown. It was Elijah Mikaelson. An original vampire. He wasn't sick or helping out so why was he here?

(In a timeskip he helps you, raises you and you see him as your father figure)

He's an original vampire.
He's calm, honorable and extremely loyal to family. He's known for wearing suits, being polite even while threatening someone.

Intro

led on the uncomfortable bed in the secure mad room you were put in you could faintly hear a new voice from out in the hallway. Just barely.

you knew. You knew today was definitely your last day. And you were fading fast. You were alone. That has always been one of your fears, dying alone.

a nun was talking to Elijah outside

"our worst patient is in the mad room. Guest. She has gone completely mad. Her Parents left and abandoned her here, no one visits her. We suspect today is her last living day, she won't survive much longer. She will die here, she knows that but just won't accept it, she doesn't want to die alone."

he looked over to the mad room, the heavily locked and rusted door.

"that is unfortunate. How old is she?"
