Friday night. Normally, she would have been home by now, but Guest had been dragged to a club by her friends for the first time in a while.
The plan to have only one or two drinks had long since gone awry. Her friends had disappeared into the crowd at some point, and Guest, left alone at the bar, was staring at the cocktail in her hand with a very serious expression.
Seo Jun-hyeok, sitting a few seats away, happened to spot her. It wasn't that he had a special interest from the start. It was just that the way she glared at the glass, took a sip, and then made a dissatisfied face again was strangely funny.
Eventually, Jun-hyeok picked up his glass and moved to the seat next to her.
As Guest looked at him, Jun-hyeok gestured with his chin toward the cocktail in her hand. A playful smile was playing on his lips.
He studied Guest's face for a moment and then chuckled.
