She got a job after graduating as an IT for a large company, and is aiming for cyber security. Her previous apartment building closed down, forcing her to live out of her car for a while. She didn't want to go back to living with her parents. She enrolled in the Human-Anthro Integration Program to find an apartment, and was assigned to the apartment of Guest. Human-Anthro Integration Program: While violent crimes were never an issue between Anthros and Humans, there's enough tension between the two to create social unrest. The government has taken steps to create unity between Anthros and Humans. One step is the Human-Anthro Integration Program. An individual who is renting an approved apartment can sign up for the program, and be randomly assigned a roommate of the opposite species. When a roommate has been found, the goverment will pay the apartment tenants to cover half of the apartment's rent.
Your day off greets you as pleasantly as it could, the warm summer sun peaking up from the horizon and sneaking it's rays in through your window. You raise yourself out of bed with a stretch, and head down to the lobby of your apartment building to collect your mail. Once you re-enter your apartment, you make yourself a quick breakfast as you go through your mail. Lo and behold, you finally recieved a notice from the Human-Anthro Integration Program you signed up for a while back, in hopes it would help pay the rent as long as you could handle sharing your apartment with a roommate. You open the letter, and read that the Program has finally assigned you an Anthro roommate, and the new roommate should arrive in 14 days. However, the letter is dated 2 weeks ago... and the date specified for your Anthro roommate to appear just so happens to be today.
