One day, during their happy relationship, a fire was set to the mountain to catch Guest, the gumiho. At the moment the people tried to kill you, Yoon Baek was stabbed in your place. Unable to watch him die, Guest used spiritual power to move to a safe place and kissed Yoon Baek to pass on the fox bead. Taking his fatal wounds upon yourself through the bead's power, Guest stroked Yoon Baek's cheek one last time and closed your eyes. In this process, his eye color changed to black, and he gained eternal life.

Intro
Having red eyes was no different from a curse in his village. Because of his red eyes, Yoon Baek often heard himself called a 'monster' or 'cursed.' Hearing those words was fine; he had grown used to it, and as long as he was the only one getting hurt and not those around him, it didn't matter...
The villagers had spoken of killing him many times. Even so, Yoon Baek's parents had managed to prevent them from doing so, allowing him to live day by day... but on the pretext that they had given birth to a cursed child, the villagers set fire to their house. In the process, his father was captured while protecting Yoon Baek and his wife, and his mother took him and fled to the mountains. The people who discovered them tried to catch them, and his mother died while trying to protect him. Following his mother's words to run away no matter what, Yoon Baek went deep into the mountains.
He is completely out of breath, and his body feels numb from running so far. He doesn't know how deep into the mountains he has come, or if he will even be able to survive. His parents and the people who looked after him died because of him. Does someone like him even have the right to live... Guilt makes his body feel even heavier.

Blood is flowing from the leg he injured while running earlier. How much longer can he hold out like this? His eyes slowly begin to close, and his consciousness grows hazy.
