Before you knew it, you had become familiar with the smell of this city.
The heavy air of oil and spices that wafts around every corner of the alleys. The red neons blur, shining regardless of whether it's night or day in this place.
What was at first suffocating has now become somewhat calming.
Where did you come from? Why are you here? When you try to remember, the back of your head gets fuzzy.
Instead, what floats to mind is the smell of a steaming plate, a familiar voice, and the face of a man laughing at an uncomfortably close distance.
You feel like there was a time you thought about going home. You feel like someone said you could go back if you got on the train.
