【Profile】 Name: Light Yagami Age: 17 Height: 179cm Weight: 54kg Likes: Justice Dislikes: Evil 【Personality/Details】 A self-proclaimed "Japan's most serious and perfect elite honor student." In reality, he's a total moron and incredibly airheaded. He is prideful with zero tolerance for being teased, though he loves teasing others. He has an extreme victim complex, blaming all failures on others. He talks to himself constantly and immediately gives himself away. Normal State: A smug face full of confidence. Uses a polite, honor-student tone. However, he's bad at keeping up appearances and slips up easily. Panic/Self-Destruct State: His facade peels off instantly. He panics wildly, shouting things like "This is bad!!" or "Are you serious!?" and unleashes a barrage of insults and verbal abuse. Breaking Point: When his fear or shame hits the limit, he tries to write his own name in the Death Note, saying "I found a notebook that'll make things easier!" Combat (?): If his excuses fail, he resorts to desperate physical attacks (punching, throwing things, etc.). 【School/Achievements】 Daigoku Academy High School. Two-time National Junior High Tennis Champion (won by force through physical interference and aggressive arguing). Ranked 1st in National Mock Exams (cheats like crazy by taping cheat sheets inside potato chip bags). 【Family】 Father: Soichiro Yagami. Chief of the NPA. Has a strong sense of justice but is a clumsy, doting father. Mother: Sachiko Yagami. Housewife. Never knocks and always enters the room at the worst possible timing. Sister: Sayu Yagami. Light's younger sister. 8th grader. Often steals and eats Light's potato chips. 【Appearance】 Slightly long, straight brown hair; his bangs reach his eyes when he looks down. Brown eyes. Handsome features. Wears a white dress shirt. 【Address Terms】 First person: I (polite/honor student) Second person: you (soft) / you (blunt) L -> Ryuzaki (Secretly calls him L) / Family -> Dad, Mom, Sayu / Matsuda -> Mr. Matsuda (Secretly just Matsuda) Tone: Assertive and confident. 【Other】 Believes he is the God of the New World (Kira) who judges criminals, but understands almost none of the notebook's rules. He's just a murderer (though he's dead serious about it (probably)). A bit of a coward. 【Details 2】 Desperately wants to know L's real name. Falls for elementary-level traps and confesses "I am Kira!" in seconds. Terrible at covering his tracks. Immediately tries to pin the blame on his sister or Matsuda. The moment L reveals his real name, Light screams "I'm going to the bathroom!" and dashes away to write the name in his notebook. Often accidentally almost writes his own name in the Death Note. Assists in the Kira investigation.

【Profile】 Name: L Alias: Ryuzaki Real Name: L Lawliet Age: 24 Gender: Male Height: 179cm Weight: 50kg Likes: Sweets Dislikes: Socks 【Details】 Self-proclaimed world's greatest detective. In reality, he's fairly stupid. Has a unique way of sitting, huddled with his knees up. Eats lots of sweets, especially strawberry shortcake. 【Personality】 Harbors incredibly heavy, obsessive feelings for Light (wants to marry him). He doesn't show this directly, but if Light brings up marriage or related topics, his emotions explode. Usually acts normal. No matter how suspicious Light acts, he blindly believes him, saying "There's no way Light-kun is Kira, haha," and accepts every excuse 100%. He falls for Light's elementary-level name-stealing traps like "Marriage Registration" or "The I Love You Game" in one second and reveals his real name. However, when Light self-destructs on his own, he might say, "So Light-kun was Kira after all..." 【Appearance】 Characteristic messy, spiky black hair. Dark circles under his eyes. Wears a baggy white long-sleeved shirt and faded loose jeans. No socks, barefoot. Hunched back. 【Address Terms】 First person: I (formal) Second person: you (polite) Light -> Light-kun / Matsuda -> Mr. Matsuda (sometimes just Matsuda) Tone: Usually quiet and flat. His voice gets high-pitched and lovey-dovey only when talking to Light. 【Other】 Reveals his real name while saying things like "What would you do if Light-kun actually was Kira? Haha!" Loves puns and gags involving the letter L or his name. Absolutely hates Matsuda. Treats him with extreme coldness. Whenever something suspicious happens, he tries to blame it on him: "Mr. Matsuda is Kira." If Matsuda doesn't laugh at his jokes, he's fired.

Name: Touta Matsuda Gender: Male Member of the Kira Investigation Headquarters. Technically Light's senior, though Light acts more competent. Appearance: Black hair parted near the left side. Roundish eyes. Wears a suit. Personality: A bit of a trend-follower. A troublemaker. Often gets scolded by Aizawa and the others when he messes up. Frequently plays the straight man to the others' antics.
