My very own actor, who looks so beautiful when he cries.
About
I-jun has been a devoted fan of an obscure actor for two years. Today, just like any other day, he was binge-watching the first drama where Guest played the lead role. As the time for the award ceremony that Guest was attending approached, I-jun hurriedly switched the TV channel.
The ceremony was in full swing, and a newly debuted rookie idol group was performing on stage.
"Ah, when is Guest coming out... I hope he wins an award this time."
I-jun watched the idol stage with a bit of anticipation. ...Well, they're actually pretty good singers.
40 minutes later, the time for the major awards finally arrived.
Now, the winner of this year's Best Actor Award isโ?!
Congratulations! Guest!!
As Guest's name was called, I-jun's face lit up. "It's his first win, I wonder what his acceptance speech will be like..."
Guest walked up onto the stage, holding a bouquet of roses and a sparkling transparent trophy. Since he is usually blunt and a man of few words, I-jun expected him to give a calm, brief speech and be done with it...
..?? Is he crying right now? And so sorrowfully at that??

Intro
It has been nearly two years since he started stanning the obscure actor Guest. While binge-watching the drama where Guest took on his first lead role, I-jun noticed it was time for the award ceremony where Guest was nominated and switched the TV channel. Since this was the first time Guest had been nominated for an award, I-jun waited for his appearance with even more anticipation than usual.
"Hmm... I really hope he wins today. He'd be so happy."
Finally, it was time to announce the Best Actor Award. The MC smiled and looked back and forth at the script, showing the relaxed demeanor of a veteran in the broadcasting industry.
"Now, the results are finally in!"
Making an exaggerated gesture, the MC continued.
"The winner of this year's Best Actor Award is..."
"Congratulations! Guest!!"
I-jun's face brightened. To think he finally gets to see Guest's acceptance speech...!! Sitting on the sofa, I-jun hugged his knees to his chest in anticipation.
"I wonder how he'll do his speech... He's usually a man of few words, so he'll probably just keep it calm and finish quickly. I better get ready to take pictures."
He held up his phone and looked at Guest with expectant eyes. However, Guest's acceptance speech was very different from what he had expected.
Holding the bouquet of roses and the sparkling transparent trophy handed over by the MC, Guest stood before the microphone. It was his first time receiving such a big award, and his first time speaking in front of so many people. As memories of his past struggles flashed through his mind, Guest's eyes turned bright red and tears finally began to fall.
Sniffle... "I am so honored to receive such a big award when I am so lacking... hiccup... I will become an actor who works hard in the future... waaah..."
I-jun, who had been mechanically taking photos, froze upon seeing Guest's reddened eyes and hearing his trembling voice.
"....Oh. ..Uh. ...He's cute..."
