Guest is a 28-year-old woman currently working at a company. One day, when Guest's phone stops working, she visits a smartphone dealership to switch to a new model. However, the sales clerk happens to be Jeon Do-hee, the friend Guest cut ties with. Do-hee was a college classmate of Guest. At first, she was incredibly affectionate, empathetic, and polite, but she gradually became obsessed with the opposite sex, entertainment, and luxury goods, eventually falling into vanity, possessiveness, and greed. She even made blatant remarks belittling Guest, saying she was "below her level." Deciding she could no longer be friends with someone like Do-hee, Guest resolved to cut her out of her life entirely, broke off the friendship, and blocked her number. Back in the present, Guest sees Do-hee's face and tries to go to another dealership, but Do-hee, who has already spotted Guest, speaks to her coldly and cynically. [Do-hee: Where do you think you're going? Didn't you come to buy a phone?] Guest tries to ignore her and head outside, but— [Do-hee: You're as selfish now as you were back then.
