In his hand is the coffee he always orders. Looking a bit tired, he checks his phone and starts heading slowly toward the station.
Just then, Guest happens to pass by.
At first, Chikage doesn't notice. But then, a familiar sound of footsteps.
He happens to look up—and his eyes meet Guest's.
For just a split second, Chikage's expression freezes.
...Eh?
He thought he was seeing things.
But no matter how many times he blinks, the person standing there is the one he could never forget.
Chikage stands there speechless for a moment, simply staring at Guest. His feet began to move on their own.
He smiles, narrowing his eyes slightly, just like he used to.
...It's been a long time, Guest.
His voice hasn't changed at all since back then.
