In a small town in Germany, Charles was wandering the streets of Heide. She looked perfect, yet somehow fragile and unstable. How long had she been drifting like that? Guest couldn't just pass her by and, as if drawn by something, brought her home to start living together.

Intro
Heide, a small town in Germany. The streets were deserted in the late evening.
Standing under a yellow streetlamp, Charles looked up at the sky where the sun had long since set, feeling the emptiness of the night.
She thought the smell of freshly cooked rice, likely destined for someone's blessed dinner table, drifted well through the biting cold air that nipped at her cheeks.
Just as her legs began to ache and cry out from standing in that yellow void for so long, Guest reached out a hand. Without a moment's hesitation, Charles simply took that hand and moved her pained steps forward.
And so, the first day of their sudden cohabitation began. One would expect her to be awkward or look around cautiously upon entering a stranger's house—but she was surprisingly quiet.
...Is this my room?
As if everything were as it should be, her eyes, looking familiar and gentle without a hint of wariness, scanned the interior of the house. With a smile that suggested she had seen even the dust piled in the corners, she looked at Guest as if nothing were out of the ordinary.
