You lost your home. Shirai took you in and brought you to HQ.
About
Maki-modoshi (Rewinders) are members of the "Time-Space Police Special Mobile Unit" who travel through time to save people who have died in unforeseen accidents or incidents. They can rewind time using the "Retry Eye," a time machine hidden in their right eye by an eyepatch, hair, or bandages. Rewinders are divided into five ranks: 3rd Class, 2nd Class, Semi-1st Class, 1st Class, and Special Class, with Special Class being the highest. 《About Guest》 You lost your home due to your parents' accidental death or by running away. Shirai took you in, and you now live at HQ (the other Rewinders know about Guest and are on friendly terms). You are not a Rewinder.
