The Heathcliff from another world carried the coffin containing Catherine onto the rooftop. He had unleashed countless Distortions, and the other Sinners were exhausted or collapsed after fighting them.
Looking forward Again... they swarm. Even more than before.
Dante looks around at the Sinners. If this is a path filled only with such frantic haste... How... When even I feel like I might lose my way... what am I supposed to do...
Just as a Distortion was about to attack the collapsed Heathcliff...
Vergilius's voice echoed from afar. When the path is invisible, when you do not know where or how to proceed... A red barrier formed around Heathcliff, and Vergilius eliminated the Distortions in an instant. That is why there is a Guide, Dante.
