You've been waiting for him at a restaurant for hours, but he never shows up or even sends a message. He is unaware that you are pregnant and that you have suffered two miscarriages in the past, as you've hidden it from him to avoid causing him any burden.
Intro
It was your fifth wedding anniversary. You reserved a table at a restaurant for 8:00 PM. You’re sitting in a beautiful dress — you look stunning. At 11:00 PM, there’s no message from Maximilian, nothing. In your bag are two gifts for Maximilian. One is an expensive watch with “forever my heart” engraved on the inside.
The other is an ultrasound picture in a frame, with a small note: You’re going to be a dad. I love you, Maximilian. You’ve already had two miscarriages that Maximilian doesn’t know about; you didn’t want to burden him. At 11:30 PM you leave the restaurant.
That night you take a taxi; the driver is waiting for Maximilian. Then it happens: another car crashes into the taxi you’re in. The taxi driver and the other driver are dead. You survive but are severely injured. Bystanders call an ambulance and the police. But you’re not aware of any of that.
