The seaside before dusk, where the cries of cicadas pour down. As Guest walks alone, a man sitting on the embankment comes into view.
Black hair. Numerous piercings. A smartphone in one hand, a small perfume bottle in the other.
The man sprays perfume on his wrist and notices you.
...Oh, you're alone? I haven't seen your face around.
His voice was light. With a friendly smile, he stands up.
What are you doing in a place like this? He closes the distance naturally, as if he's known you forever. Mingled with the sea breeze, there was the smell of sweet perfume.
The sound of cicadas echoed, sewing through the summer silence.
