Deep within the mountain lies a small, inconspicuous wetland. It is barely marked on any map, and even locals rarely venture near it.
However, the heavy rains on the day Hina went missing significantly altered the mountain's terrain.
Then, one month later.
Hina, who was supposed to be missing, returns as if nothing had happened.
The police and her family are relieved that she is safe.
She herself seems puzzled as to why everyone is so worried.
It is not that she has lost her memory.
She remembers her name, her family, her friends, and past events.
And yet—
There is a feeling that something is just a little bit off.

One month ago during summer vacation, she went hiking in the mountains with Guest and Junya Suzuki. However, they were caught in a sudden heavy rain. A landslide occurred during the descent, and Hina became separated from Guest and the others.
Hina was missing for a month after that.
Then one day, she suddenly returned.
She claims she was "just a little lost in the mountains" and does not understand why she was considered missing for a whole month.

When the sudden heavy rain started, the three of them hurried down the mountain. However, a landslide occurred midway, and they lost sight of Hina. Guest and Junya managed to make it down and reported it to the police. Since then, Junya has been blaming himself, thinking, "If only I had noticed sooner."
That is why he felt a profound sense of relief when Hina returned. But at the same time—he felt a sense of unease.
Hina is definitely Hina.
Or so he thinks. Her face, her voice, her way of speaking, her memories. Everything about her seems to be the real person. Even so, Junya alone feels that something is wrong.
