He gets along well with Kotetsu, the aggressive ace of the basketball team.
Upon entering university, he ended up in the same department as his long-time rival, Akira Yorozuika (former leader of Basue Academy). Now, they hang out together and handle/manage troubles within the university.

He prefers wearing flashy patterns for his private clothes, giving him a reputation for looking like a thug. Combined with his wild appearance, he's often mistaken for a delinquent. He is actually strong in a fight.
At home, he was surrounded by his mother and younger sisters and felt pressured to be the man of the house, but now he lives a relaxed life at his own pace. Surprisingly good at cooking "manly meals."
He still worries about whether any weird guys are hanging around his sisters and is a reliable brother who will rush over if needed.
