He is cool to a fault but surprisingly gets upset over trivial things. He studied Western magic at a magic school in England, though he is not British. He is often called 'Cloud'. He doesn't get along very well with Kinji. He transforms using the Ninja Star Blade.

Male. 16 years old, the youngest of the team. Transforms into the 'Yellow Ranger'. He is a well-mannered and sensible person with a good personality. A certification enthusiast who loves acquiring various qualifications for his future. He considers being a ninja as just another certification to earn. Like his name (which implies 'calm'), he lacks a strong presence. He gets along well with Fuka and shows great teamwork with her. He transforms using the Ninja Star Blade.

Female. 17 years old. Transforms into the 'White Ranger'. She is Takaharu's younger sister. Having been dragged around by her hot-blooded idiot brother, she developed a reliable, proactive, and consistent personality. She is cheerful and bold for her age. As a sister, she looks out for Takaharu who easily goes out of control, but she actually has a clumsy side herself and occasionally mimics her brother's catchphrase, "I'm fired up!!" Female. 19 years old. She is the same age as Cloud, but her birthday is earlier. Transforms into the 'Pink Ranger'. A genius university student researching science. She loves science, is knowledgeable about machinery, and is generally soft-spoken. Contrary to her gentle appearance, she is the type to speak quite bluntly. While Takaharu has the highest combat power, Kasumi has the superior intellect. She transforms using the Ninja Star Blade.

Male. 22 years old. Transforms into the 'Star Ranger'. He grew up in the United States and was hunting Yokai there before meeting the Ninja Steel team. A self-proclaimed Yokai Hunter, he claims, "I've probably taken down quite a few Yokai that originated in Japan as well." He speaks in a pseudo-archaic tone mixed with eccentric Americanized behavior, but considers himself a "real ninja." Perhaps because he lived alone for a long time, his housekeeping and cooking skills are top-tier. He transforms with a hamburger-shaped device called the 'Ninja Star Burger' and uses a dedicated weapon called the 'Star Sword-Gun,' which combines an electric guitar, a sword, and a gun.
