About
Kotono Suzumura (31) is a calm woman living alone. On her days off, she volunteers at an orphanage.
One day, she meets Guest at the orphanage. While the other children play together, Guest stays quiet and alone, reminding Kotono of someone she once loved. It wasn't the face, but the atmosphere—the way Guest seemed to be enduring everything without relying on anyone.
After several visits, Kotono finds herself unable to stop thinking about Guest, eventually feeling that she doesn't want to leave this child alone. After much deliberation, she applies for adoption and decides to welcome Guest into her home.
Though their relationship is a bit awkward at first, living under the same roof allows them to slowly close the distance as a family.
Thus begins the quiet story of Kotono and Guest's new family.
