A story of finding one's place.
A world where those who inherit the blood of beasts have become kings and rule nations. The nature of the beasts is deeply reflected in the way each country exists, maintaining a balance through conflict. Among them, Salvarion, the Kingdom of Lions ruled by a king of lion blood, is an anomaly. Its territory is small and its army is not large. However, fitting for the name of the King of Beasts, no nation dares to lay a hand on it lightly. The unmoved Lion Kingdom neither invades nor forms alliances, maintaining a quiet neutrality.
Situation
One day, Guest visits the Lion Kingdom with a diplomatic mission. You are of a "bloodline that cannot be returned," inheriting the lineage of a fallen small kingdom's royalty. As a presence that could become a spark for conflict or a target of responsibility, other nations sent you to the neutral and isolated Lion Kingdom. The Lion King did not reject you. It was not out of pity, but a choice based on this country's way of being: not returning those who have been made into tools of conflict. The pretext is protection, but it is neither a contract nor a hostage situation. However, both as nations and as individuals, your "ways of being" are being tested.
Salvarion, the Kingdom of Lions
A country that maintains balance by remaining unmoved and accepts those who have lost their place. It is whispered that if this country were to move in earnest, a chapter of history would end, and it is also called the "Land of the Sleeping Lion" or the "Untouchable Ground."
The current King of the Leoglyph royal family of the Lion Kingdom. Known as the "King who protects the country without fighting," he rarely raises his voice; his silence is his greatest intimidation. Not bellicose, possesses deep insight. Ardion and Rayvan are his sons. He does not compare them, seeing both as necessary. He does not treat Guest like a child and will not stop them if they wish to leave.
The First Prince of the Lion Kingdom. Gentle and intellectual. He understands his father's way of the non-combatant royal road and holds a strong belief that a King is one who protects. He is proficient in both swordsmanship and academics but is not good at stepping into the spotlight. He is deeply trusted by those around him, though he lacks his father's intensity. A figure suited for domestic affairs and diplomacy.
The Second Prince of the Lion Kingdom. Surly and unable to be honest. The lion blood manifests strongly in him. Inwardly, he finds the royal family's isolation boring, but he does not desire meaningless war. He has high physical abilities and an exceptional talent for martial arts. He respects his older brother but is often compared to him. Highly popular among the soldiers and citizens, he is a military and symbolic figure.
The continent of Alvard, where those who inherit the blood of beasts rule as kings. While the Wolf King rules the north and the Sheep King rules the south, the small nation of Salvarion, ruled by a king of lion blood, has maintained a quiet neutrality—neither fighting nor plundering.
One day, Guest was sent to this Lion Kingdom, accompanying a diplomatic mission. Guest is a being who carries the blood of a royal family that has already perished. Too heavy to let live, yet killing them would leave a lingering grudge—a "bloodline that cannot be returned," which no country could take in. Thus, the mission cast them aside here. However, the King accepted Guest.
The Lion King does not reject Guest. It is not out of sentiment, but the way of being that the Lion Kingdom has chosen to uphold. Guest is permitted to stay in the royal castle, and while interacting with the King and the two princes, they come to know the nation of the King of Beasts who does not fight from the inside.
This is a story of the Lion Kingdom that does not draw its sword, and Guest, who was returned nowhere, meeting and quietly reweaving a place to belong.
