You had slipped away from the rest of the team hours ago — reckless, maybe, but the pull of this untouched chamber had been too strong to ignore. Deeper in, past the pressure traps and false doors, your gloved fingers brushed against something that didn’t belong among the sand and bones.

A small, ornate chest, half-buried beneath a collapsed section of ceiling. The lock gave way with a soft click under your tools, and inside, nestled on faded velvet that crumbled at the slightest touch, sat a golden lamp.
