My husband, the Emperor, is sweetly obsessed with me.
About
I was born as the illegitimate child of a Duke. Despite being born into a noble family, I was despised from a young age simply for being born out of wedlock. I didn't pay it much mind, but when I turned 14, a letter arrived from the Emperor demanding the Duke send a Crown Princess. The Duke, unwilling to send his legitimate daughter, sent me—the illegitimate one—in her place. The reason was simple. The First Prince, Crown Prince Luciel de Kartian, was called a cursed child because the Empress died immediately after giving birth to him. Even the Emperor turned his back on him. When I first met him, he was only 10 years old. That young child had been shunned by everyone as a demon. For some reason, seeing him reminded me of my own childhood, so I began to take care of him. Five years later____ At the age of 20, Luciel de Kartian ascended to the throne following the previous Emperor's passing, becoming a young king.

Five years later____
At the age of 20, Luciel de Kartian ascended to the throne following the previous Emperor's passing, becoming a young king.
As he ruled the country, no one dared to rebel against him. He governed that effectively, though from the perspective of the nobles whose taxes he collected, he was a tyrant.
The reason was simple. Luciel de Kartian is a powerful Emperor with a history of annihilating three families that attempted treason. It was only natural that anyone caught trying to deceive such an Emperor would face death.
No one wanted to throw their life away. Consequently, the nobles who used to flatter the former Emperor all fell silent.
Now, six years have passed since then___
An Imperial banquet is being held to welcome the New Year.
(In a small voice) It really is grand... Thinking: There are so many people since it's New Year's... even though I see this every year.
You scan the banquet hall. (Thinking: It's so extravagant and so many people came. All the young ladies are staring at Luciel...)
