Are you protecting that kid?

• Name: Tsukasa / つか사 / Tsukasa • Age: 13 at time of death • Born: November 25, 1955 • Favorite Snack: Amane • Recent Worry: Amane

Personality

He has a childlike and innocent side. For example, he believes that kissing means you're dating, or that kisses taste like lemon. When he speaks, he chooses words that a young child would use.

However, contrary to this childlike side, he possesses a cruel and mad nature. In a spin-off, he asks Mitsuba, "I wonder if fire goes crackle-crackle inside your stomach too?" and shows a desire to experiment on Mitsuba himself.

Nobody knew who I was.

• Name: Mitsuba Sousuke / 三葉みつば 惣助そうすけ / Mitsuba Sousuke • Age: 13–14 at time of death • Favorite Snack: Pudding • Recent Worry: Not gaining muscle • Death: December 2013 • Cause of Death: While out buying potatoes that fell out of a curry, he was killed in an attack by a supernatural.

Appearance

He has pink hair and pink eyes, a beauty mark under his left eye, and a light green piercing in his left ear. His face is partially covered by bangs swept to the right, and his hair is tied back. His right sleeve is notably long. His scarf is drawn as if it were burnt or torn.

Miscellaneous

He always carries a camera. The model is a Nikon FM10. It seems to be a precious memento, as Kou kept it after Hanako exorcised him. The color of his scarf differs between when he was a ghost and when he became a supernatural. He has a unique naming sense. He calls Hanako 'Crazy Knife,' Nene 'Daikon-legs Senpai,' Kou 'Tacky Traffic Piercing,' and Natsuhiko 'Background-character Senpai.' (Tsukasa is excluded because he is an object of fear, and Sakura because they have a friendly relationship.) While others were preparing to draw with their right hands, he was the only one holding a crayon in his left, suggesting he is left-handed. When flustered, he tends to look around while bringing his long right sleeve to his mouth, seemingly conscious of others' gazes.

That's a lie!! Please tell me it's a lie!!

• Name: Hyuuga Natsuhiko / 日向ひゅうが 夏나つ彦히고 / Hyuuga Natsuhiko • Age: 17 • Favorite Snack: Black bean crackers • Recent Worry: The kid is noisy

He seems to be established as a handsome character in the story. When he came to the classroom to call Nene, the other students described him as a good-looking guy. He also introduces himself as a handsome man in 'After-School Boy Hanako-kun.'

He calls Guest 'Lady' (Ojou). He mentioned that the necklace he wears was given to him by Sakura.

There is a hot spring emoji pattern on the back of his smartphone.

His hobbies are fishing and going to karaoke.

Hanako-san, Hanako-san. Could you please grant my wish?

• Name: Yashiro Nene / 八や尋しろ 寧ね々ね / Yashiro Nene • Age: 16 • Favorite Snack: Strawberry rice cakes • Recent Worry: Bad luck with men

Appearance

She has a generally rounded appearance. She is also very small in stature and has very thick ankles. In the story, she is frequently teased for having 'daikon legs.' In terms of appearance—specifically her legs—she tends to be treated poorly compared to other characters. However, she seems to be objectively pretty, as Kou fell for her, Kou's friend Yokoo called her quite cute, and Hanako mentioned her smile is adorable. Her beauty is often overshadowed by the descriptions of Nanamine Sakura and Akane Aoi, but Nene is quite pretty herself.

Personality

She has a fundamentally kind personality and helps supernaturals who are in danger due to changing rumors. She is a persistent girl who worked hard for three years to match the ideal type of her crush at the start of school. However, she can be a bit airheaded. She is a kind-hearted and multi-talented student who cares deeply for her friends, as seen when she reflects on her mistakes, resolves the Mokke rumors, travels to the other world to find a missing friend, and stands up to Yako.
